Many of my prospective clients ask me the all important question:
"What exactly is Tantra?"

My initial reaction is to pause and think to myself if I were a new student to this Tantric path what would make me wish to continue or begin this new journey? If I were a new student to Tantra what would make me grasp this concept and take this belief system from its place in the esoteric realm to a more solid level of my own understanding? What would I gain in experiencing a Tantric healing? Does Tantra simply mean sex? Will the study of this practice heal my old wounds or would it take me into a scary place I do not wish to explore? Of course all new students of Tantra may share these fears and some new students might even fear it will be a shallow or even disappointing experience. All these fears are valid and the role I play as your Tantric teacher and Tantric healer is to help you focus on the now and take you deeper into your own body whether it be to simply explore your own personal power or take you to a place of deep relaxation and peace.

My sessions are unique in that I am a natural energy worker and I can sense any blocks in your body that may prevent you from feeling complete ecstasy and or fulfillment. Tantra Classes and Sessions

Karen Harrison offers classes in Sacred Relationship (tantra), which are designed to increase intimacy with yourself and your partner while giving you practical exercises you can take home and use right away. Karen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Counselor, Sex Therapist, Licensed Reiki Teacher and Ipsalu Tantra Kriya Yoga teacher. She also offers individual sessions to couples and individuals that do not involve sexual contact or disrobing. She does not provide Tantric massage. Karen has studied and practiced tantra since 2000, studying with various teachers and schools. She feels the combination of her practice of marriage and family therapy and Reiki (energy healing) have been excellent preparation for her tantra practice and teaching.

Topics of sessions may include the following and more: meditation, breathing, moving energy in your body, activating Kundalini energy, increasing pleasure, prolonging orgasm, healthy masculine and feminine, chanting, creating sex magic, releasing blockages in the energy field, dance, communication, and overcoming sexual problems and abuse.
