Can Tantra help me achieve orgasm?
Robert Frey
Q: I have had sex numerous times with several partners. Yet, somehow I always fail to reach orgasm. I know that it is not the man that I am with, but an issue with me. I was wondering if Tantric sex would be a good solution and if you could also add some tips?
A: One of the glorious benefits of practicing Tantra is the likelihood of enhanced orgasms. Usually non-orgasmic women become orgasmic, and multi-orgasmic at that. One thing to keep in mind is that your best bet is to set an interim goal of becoming "orgasmic," and for awhile take your focus off of reaching orgasms. I suggest you carefully tune into the women in the popular DVD, Ancient Secrets of Sexual Ecstasy. These aren't actresses, so the aroused orgasmic states they exhibit (and are enjoying!) are authentic. Imagine yourself (like them) simply relaxing into enjoying every moment of pleasuring and sex along the way. Focus on the journey and not the destination. That, by the way, is an essential teaching of most enlightened masters and teachers. Secondly, I suggest that you and your partner of choice get some training. The best start would be a weekend workshop, especially one that focuses on opening up the pelvis, releasing tension, and deepening breath.
