Q: Other than regular yoga exercises, what can a tantra novice do, in the way of preparation, to start on the way of Tantra? I am single so I'll have to practice/exercise alone till a suitable female partner comes along.
A: There is quite a bit that a single person can do: meditation on the chakras; developing a strong, supple body; awareness of energy flows and practicing breathing techniques such as the cobra breath as described in the book The Jewel and The Lotus by Avinasha and Saraswati. In addition you can practice some of the more sexual techniques like ejaculation mastery and the Wave of Bliss that comes from relaxing into the ecstatic waves that come with orgasmic potential.
