Where to learn about Tantra?

Q: I was wondering about learning Tantra and am kind of apprehensive. I am not sure who to trust and what to look for. What suggestions could you give for somebody looking to learn and experience of Tantra? What to look for before signing up. (licenses, experiences, etc.). Also, is there a list on the internet of places in the US where they have Tantra instructors?
A: The Tantra.com teachers directory should prove helpful to you. As of this date there is no licensing body for Tantra teachers; however, a few of the well-known teachers who have taught for many years have begun to train and certify teachers in their methods. I trained and certified teachers in Transformational Tantra and Margot Anand trains teachers through Sky Dancing Institute. I personally think that a good place to begin your study is through reading a book or two on Tantra. Check the list of available books through the Tantra.com bookstore. The selection is excellent.
