What is the role of "chemistry" in great sex?
Robert Frey
Q: How can I become a better lover? I never met any guy who actually got training to be a great lover. I thought it was mostly a matter of the right chemistry...
A: Chemistry helps, there's no doubt about that. But skill and experience make a huge difference. Indeed, Tantra offers wonderful tools to help develop the "love" in "lover" and the ability to skillfully work with sexual energy in loving, reverent ways. Most women respond much more favorably to a real lover than to a skillful technician. In Tantra there are specific techniques for relating to male and to female genital energy and sensation, including ejaculation delay for men and relaxation-based orgasms for women. How the partners breathe and the particular sounds they make have surprisingly powerful effects on love-making. Also kissing, touching, pleasuring, etc. are heartfelt, loving arts that can be learned and mastered.
