Suzie Heumann has studied, practiced and taught Tantra since 1987. Together with her husband, Michael, she founded Tantra.com in 1995 as a marketing vehicle for their first Tantric film, Ancient Secrets of Sexual Ecstasy. She then leveraged her resources in the Tantra community to turn the site into the ultimate destination for information about sacred sexuality and its path to spiritual transformation.
A regular contributor to numerous magazines such as Health, Yoga Journal, Men's Health and Fitness, and Penthouse, Suzie writes a majority of Tantra.com's content. She speaks at conferences regarding Tantric practice, appeared as a workshop leader on HBO's "Real Sex” in The Positions of the Kama Sutra and is a known radio personality. She is the author of “The Everything Great Sex Book” and “The Everything Kama Sutra Book,” both available through Adams Media and the catalog at www.tantra.com.
Suzie studied the biological sciences and has had a keen interest in anthropology, physiology, ritual, shamanism, and women's studies with a focus on ancient cultures. She has produced cultural travel videos and instructional films with her husband since 1981. Their latest sexuality film is The Art of Orgasm for Men and Women with Margot Anand. Suzie has three daughters and lives in Northern California.
